I recently installed some LEDs on my bike from Joe Florida, and decided that I wanted a factory looking master switch for them. I picked up a H-D dash panel Accessory switch today, so it will look like a factory install. I do not plan on wiring the switch to the bike wiring harness, and the back of the switch has three wires, two orange and one black. Is there anyway to wire this switch without the factory harness so that the switch light will come on, when the switch is on?
Black is ground and the two orange wires are for 12volts
one in and one out. When you hook up your lights ground
one side of them. Then run one side of the switch[Orange lead}
to the other. That will make them work through your switch.
Or you can just use the Acc switch ckt that is there.

Thank you. Is there a way to connect the black wire to the stock? wiring harness? The three wires are terminated onto pins that look like are ready to be inserted into a plug/connector.
Not necessary, mike.....just land the black lead to any grounded point on the bike...go to the closest point, as ground is ground.
One of the orange wires needs to be tied to a hot wire coming from either the battery directly, or off of the ignition hot, the other orange wire ties to the lights.
