07 Road King, a great bike and great year, I had some minor issues with a rocker box gasket leak, but thats it. The bike works great with no problem in its 35K of riding. I have thought of trading her, but that a fleeting thought thinking of all the fun I still have left in it and not starting over with a new bike and their inherant issues. If I buy another bike it will be an older one an EVO. The frame is great and the motor stout with a TMAX tuner, and true duals.
It sounds like for peace of mind or if you are planning on building the motor up on a '07, better have the run out checked before things get bad. If it is bad and you want to keep the bike or even if it isn't, have the crank welded. I rolled the dice on my '05 and did not have the crank welded as the run out was almost spot on. Post '06 is infamous for the crank issues, but NOT all.

Well good to see you guys have better luck with yours. Mine was one of the very first 07's off the assembly line so that may have something to do with it. There is just no excuse for the bad hydraulic unit in the cam chain tensioner. I only discovered that when i changed cams. It would caused a failure similar to the earlier cam chain tensioners if i had not caught it. It was not holding tension on the chain at low oil pressures and the tensioner was already worn at 17,000. It was a defective part from the factory. Now i'm keeping the bike even though some things went wrong. It's a 103 now and runs great and looks just like i want it. On the other hand my 2005 Dyna has 60,000 miles on it and not one single thing has ever happened to it. It's a strong running 95" with gear drives and i have confidence that motor will still be running after the 2007 Road Glides motor has ended it's life.
