Default Anyone have an RSD Clarity air cleaner?

I have one and recently noticed some tiny water drops inside the clear cover. Has anyone else had this happen and is there a way to clean them? Thanks.

If your bikes has gotten wet recently or if you live in a humid area, this may occur. Take your bike out for a good ride and it will clear out/dry out the polycarbonate.

After taking a closer look, they are not water spots. It's actually oil that is leaking inside the air filter. I can see a small amount collecting inside the filter...not enough to leak through and drip out but it seems to "blow" small droplets inside and against the window of the cleaner. Is there a solution for this?

I think you've discovered the weak link in the "clarity" line. Oil.

yup common problem. It is easy enough to remove the 5 bolts holding the clear cover on the filter and just clean it with plexus but it does kind of suck. I have to clean mine every couple thousand miles or so due to the oil droplets. It is not bad enough to drip or even wet the filter element but spots up the "clarity" of the air cleaner that is for sure. I also noticed that mine is developing small cracks around the little bolts that hold the lexan glass in place. I would not have noticed except the last time I cleaned it I was holding it up to the light to make sure I did not leave any finger prints on the inside and noticed it. Some air cleaners can have the head breathers vented to the outside but I can not see a way to do it with the RSD aircleaners.
