in the sun
This is black chrome??? I was under the impression that black chrome looked like chrome with a slight tint to it.
Like this.....
I looked at getting some parts done in black chrome about 3 years ago but several platers I talked to warned me that it was not a good thing to do for everyday parts as it scratches pretty easily. They said it was good for show bikes.
Has the technology advanced to where black chrome is good for daily rider parts???
This is powder coat not plating. the process is completely different and about seven times less expensive ha ha ha. The best part is you still get the color effects that Black chrome gives you.the finish product is almost identical it gives you that color change that people love depending on different angles and lighting it changes with the surrounding area. Plus you get all the benefits of durability of powder coat. This is a very wicked finish
