Thanks for the compliments everyone! I'll post pictures of the wheels in a bit. They are unbelievable. Cant wait to get all of these parts back to see the finished product.
JY Kelley:
The thought crossed my mind about the bags. But I like my stuff high and tight! Seriously, not a big deal to me. Plus I am not willing to replace my favorite pipe, the Thunderheader. When you have a 2 into 1, the opposite side stretched saddlebag looks out of place without a custom fender. I kind of like the looks the way it is and cant justify replacing the entire back of the bike right now. I am having the chrome belt gaurd for that side custom painted and the sprocket powder coated to give it some more character.
Well here is the black chrome powder coat in natural light on the bike. Sorry the pictures arent showing all the upgrades. But I had to stop putting it back together to re-evaluate the game plan. Opinions?
TBH IMO it looks way better in the 3rd pic. I have a 2009 vivid black SG with chromed cans and lowers, chromed factory wheels, and a d&d fat cat looks very similar. I was curious how this would turn out cause I thought I might go that route. Anyhow, curious to see which direction you go now...
not real sure about the color im seeing but not what i pictuered as BLACK CHROME i guess i was thinking of a different shade. maybe when its all put together it will blind.Good luck
What happed to those wheels and bars from shop pics to now on the bike? Maybe it is the picture angle but the "black chrome" looks like a deep purple to me.
