Default HD pager and alarm

I dont have a parts catalog to see the specs or prices on a pager and alarm.
I have an '06 Road Glide with the std. security system.I want to at least add a pager to the system.
Could someone discribe how the pager and the alarm works and do I need both.
Does a dealer have to install these? Thanks.

The pager is an upgrade ta the audible alarm. You need to buy the "Smart Siren II", #68328-06 and the pager #91660-06 (at least, that's the pt #'s fer mah '07 UC). Install is plug an' play, an' took me all of 45 minutes or so - an' ah took mah time to make sure not ta screw sumthin' up. You hafta pull the main fuse, then install the audible/pager module under the ECM on the RH side.

I just bought the Siren II alarm and pager from Chicago Harley for 20% off.

QUESTION:

You say it mounts near or with the ECM - what happens if you already have a PCIII there - not enough room???

THANKS

Nah - thar's a spot under the ECM that it mounts in - it's actually DESIGNED by MOCO ta mount thar, so it's a "no biggie".

If you don't have a factory alarm and would consider something different look at the Scorpio line of alarms. http://www.scorpioalarms.com/
I have one of the older models it does everything the HD alarm does plus has a perimeter sensor If I were buying one today I would look at the model with the rechargeable remote, the older one goes thru about 1 battery a month. you should be able to find one on eBay for less than retail. make sure to get the optional plug n play connector kit.
