Recommendations for STREET LEGAL slip ons?

As long as you retain the cat, slip-ons won't make much, if any difference. After removing my mufflers to send them to American Custom, I started the bike expecting to hear a roar. It sounded as if the mufflers were still on. Sooooo, I installed an 09 header(no cat), and the American Custom re-cored mufflers, removed the 02 sensors, and installed a Power Commander from Fuel Moto. I did a little drill work on the baffles to get the sound I wanted. Results were a lot less heat, 43-46 mpg, and a good sound that is not offensive on long trips. Good luck on your choice.

Updated post from yesterday. I have the HD SE Street Performance Touring slip-on mufflers. I see the HD website does not list the chrome pipes, but they are listed in the 2013 SE catalog. A few decibels more than stock pipes, EPA stamp, and quiet enough to hear the stereo and talk with my rider.
