I really think that will look great, Years ago I did a bike with the bass boat type flakes over blue marble, sounds like a lot but done right you can make it work. I hope you decide to do it I really would like to see it when it's done
I love heavy flake paint jobs but on a lot of bikes I think that the heavy flake really takes away from the rest of the bike. The big flake is so in your face that the rest of the details face into the background. I was planning on heavy flake on one of my bikes but changed my mind after checking out a few bikes like that.

I've seen lots of bobbed/chopper/cruisers with heavy flake but not baggers.
Anyone with pics of heavy flaked baggers? Google wasn't very accommodating.
It's all about what you like. I love the flake in my BBP. Not sure how I would like the bigger flake like the new colors have. But I can tell you it would be an attention getter and stand out in a crowd. Non riders seem to be fascinated with nice paint jobs more than how the bike itself looks. Be prepared to have ladies tell you how pretty your bike is. I get it all the time.
He's right about the first part, though, it is a very 60's-early 70's look. But we didn't have fairings back then. A little bit of large flake goes a long way.
