Not bad...!
Clearly a matter of taste. I like the hard candy look on the tanks. But I think there is a reason that they only show a glimpse of it on a faired bagger. This picture from the website (just below the video) likewise only shows a part of the same bike. My personal opinion is that is just too much flake.
I can understand how you're on the fence about the flake, but the color in my opinion, is awesome. I did a lot of doubting when I chose that color for my bike, but in hindsight I wish I would have put a heavier flake it the midcoat. I have crowds gather when I roll up, like it or hate it , it's all about what you like and not what someone else tells you, it's your bike, your choice. Most will love it but still, haters are gonna hate.
if you're worried about too much, myabe you could break it up....
Yeah I was considering that. But I really haven't seen a paint scheme/graphics that I like on the batwing. Hard to make lines flow well on that fairing IMO.
I do like the eagle line (sans head) on the '10 CVO SG. But don't really want to copy that either.

That bike looked badass. with the right paint job It's not over the top, imo.
Or a good painter could mix in a lot of metallic and make it look almost like a flake job but not as much in your face.
