Default HD LED ????'s

Yesterday I received my order for total LED swap out on my FLHTC. This being my first go round with disassembling Harley parts to swap them out it got pretty interesting.

My question is this... I got the rear turn signals and brake light swapped out and noticed that with just turning the bike on, the turn signals stay very bright while the brake light stays dimmer at which i would consider normal for not having the brakes pulled. The turn signals flash as normal and only become slightly brighter when the brakes are pulled.

Is this normal or did i cross a wire somewhere?? Doesn't seem normal to me to have the center brake in a running light type of dimness and the turn signals at a brake depressed type of brightness all the time...

Any thoughts appreciated... Lord knows all the time i spent on that things yesterday i probably plugged a wire in wrong somewhere...
