Anyone seen or better yet used the 10" H-D Wind Splitter? It looks like it wraps around the edges of the fairing beyond the normal width. Thinking of trying it out but at $165 I don't want to make an expensive mistake.

How's it look with those extensions?

How is it for deflecting wind versus the stock 12" EG/SG shield?

 

I got the 7.5" and love it. Many dealers have demo Shields you can try out before buying. The best way to go if you're worried about buying and not liking it after.

 

I have the 10" on my SG... first mod I did to it. Not as cool looking as the smoked OE windscreen on the SG from the factory, but it works well and have no issues.

I had the 7.5 one and still had a bunch of buffeting. I am 6'0" with a 31" inseam. I would also like to try the 10.5". Can you still use the 3 windshield bag with it?

 

I've got the 10" and like it. Seems to be about the same amount of protection as the stock shield, but now I can see over the top. I like the way it looks - my brother doesn't. To each his own.
