Along with my heated grips they extend my riding season at least 3 months. have the lowers with adjustable vents. leave them on year round. work great when it's raining.. my feet stay dry. only thing on me that gets much rain unless its a complete downpourt are my knees and the outer edges of my shoulders.. also help a lot when it's below 50....

I put a set of the vented lower fairing on my Road King. I took them off one summer and that afternoon I get hit in the shin by a June bug, thought I got shoot. The next day I got caught in the ran and was soaked from the knees down. The next day the lowers went back on and the haven't been back of since.
