Get the bike you really want and forget the 'less than perfect' decisions required to get you to that point. Just make sure this time.

I went through the exact same deal. Bought the Wide Glide 12/23/11. Wife rode with me maybe 4 times and complained the whole time. April this year traded for a 12 FLHTCU. Have almost 10k on her, my wife loves it (but still gives me my alone times on it) and I grin from ear to ear every time I get on it whether I'm solo or she's with me. I was another one of those who should have bought my second bike first! Wish I'd taken some test rides first!
