grrr. thought about it after i installed my true dual rineharts. Tried to remove the slip on the other day and it was seized after just 200 miles and wouldn't rotate or anything. tried heat, tapping on muffler, filter wrench. Any other ideas to help a brother out?

PB Blaster, let it sit for about 10 mins. Its always worked for me.... love that stuff. oh yeah when you get them off, never seize when putting them back.

I've found Aero Kroil to be an even better penetrating oil than PB Blaster. Frees things you would think had been welded.

Yep-- the high temperature anti sieze is the go for the mufflers/header pipe connection.
jimmy I thought it was a copper compound but not sure-- whatever it is it works better than the standard grey stuff.
