Thanks to everyone that voted, results are interesting. Only 12% use the same in all 3 holes. Considering that Syn3 which Harley suggests for running in all 3 cost almost $20 per quart and you need 6 quarts per oil change no wonder.
I run HD primary oil and Amsoil in the engine. I run Amsoil gear oil in the transmission.
When I had my cams installed on my 2012, I changed over to my usual combo above. When I picked up the bike, all the usual ticking is completely gone. I think it is due to a combination of the Amsoil and the tighter tolerances on the rockers.
I run 4qts. of Amsoil 20w-50 in the engine
1qt. of Bel-Ray V-Twin trans fluid which is 85w-140 I believe in the trans, and I run 45 oz. of HD Formula+ in the primary.
