I don't think one oil is the best for all 3 holes. I think the different oils were engineered and manufactured for different applications.

One oil in all 3 holes may work fine. We read about it a lot here.
Yep////I don't get motor oil in a transmission.Would you put gear oil in your Motor?

Harley recommends Syn 3 in all 3, Mobil says it works in all three, who am I to question the manufacture of the bike or oil. Just saying . . .

I use Mobil 1 VTwin 20-50 3 quarts with 1/2 quart Lucas Oil Additive in the engine ,
Redline shockproof in trans
Mobil1 Vtwin 20-50 or Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10-40 in the primary.

The Redline brand dedicated primary fluid seems to make my clutch slip..

Is there a good/bad of using a single oil product in all three holes? I was always told that Oil in the tranny equals BAD.
Same here
Mobil 1
Redline
Formula

Because 20w50 motor oil is just about the same viscosity as 75/140 gear lube.

Oil threads are like a dog chasing his own tail...you always end up in the same place and are no further ahead.
