If you do that, and it works, be sure to stop in at the Zumo forums and tell the Garmin techs who post there, that they are wrong.

sorry didn't report back. I had to order from the dealer and it came in last week. I'm due back in town Saturday so I'll try to go get it then and get it installed. I'll let you know.
I have an RT and borrowed my friends Garmin (bought new) It does not work on the NIM. It does work via the 3.5" jack but that's just pointless because the radio or CD would than be useless.
