Default Progressive Tour Link

I know this has been beat to death but I grabbed one off ebay and installed it today, Big improvement. Did a quick 50 mile ride on roads i always run and cant believe the difference. Had my 2001 RKC set up with the added weight of the tour pack to make sure. Doing a longer ride now with the wife on to see even more.

I have noticed an incredible difference, first by getting those crappy stock Dunlops off the bike (went with Michelin II), and then installing the Progressive Tour Link. It handles like a completely different bike!

I agree did a ride of just over a hundred miles tonight to put it to the test. I dont seem to feel the tar patches and cracks anymore. Also a much better bike in the corners. Ive put almost 20,000 miles on this season and should have done this earlier.

Update...After just over 1000 miles with the link on I am impressed. Slight addition in vibration but worth it. Wife mentioned that the bike seemed to ride a little harder for some reason, reduced the rear air and that was gone. Big test was last night coming home in 60mph winds with gusts way over that, I was very impressed with the handling. It was firm and responsive to my moves around flying crap on the road and coming at me. I'm sold great investment.

I had the Glide Pro on my old 2004 and it worked real well but the 149 dollars on ebay for the tour link is hard to resist. May have to save for one on my new 2004.

Recently installed one on my 08 RKC. Very satisfied. There is a noticeable improvement on grooved pavement and metal grate bridges. It's a worthwhile upgrade.
