Did lots of looking and found a kidney belt failure that was replaced with no questions, but am looking for info on what the guarantee actualy does and does not cover? Anyone have any input or first hand experiences here, it is greatly appreciated. The leather jacket is what i am looking at, both the heavy and mid weight.

Don't know about jacket but my friend has had his FXRG boots replaced twice for free. But his dealer goes to bat for people - mine seems like once sale is complete, they're done.
FXRG mid weight here, had the kidney belt replaced on questions. Even without the warrantee, it's a great jacket. More versatile than anything else i've tried.

Kinda funny, I recognize your avitar as the one I found that had the kidney belt belt replaced. Maybe it is a good thing that no one has had to have anything done. Take care

I had the main zipper shed a couple teeth on my new-this-spring FXRG midweight jacket. I was told that turnaround would be 6-8 weeks. This was right before I was due to leave for a ride to the west coast; my dealer told me I could get the zipper replaced at the shop of my choice and they would reimburse me. I had the zipper replaced, and the check from the dealer was waiting for me when I got home. BTW, the only reason the zipper failed is because I lost my temper at it. The storm flap was constantly getting caught in the zipper and stranding me with a partially zipped or unzipped jacket and a jammed zipper. When I took it in to my leather guy to replace the zipper, I told him about this problem. He returned the leather to me with a new zipper and a redesigned and resewn storm flap....no more problems with that! This winter he is going to stretch the cuffs (which are way too tight) and put some better velcro on the pocket system flaps and customize the inner pockets for me. I love this leather. Super warm!!! The venting system works great, too. This is the -12 new style midweight. I had the -09 midweight earlier but lost a bunch of weight and was swimming in it. FWIW, I like the -09 a little better regarding the pockets; the new "pocket system" is a gimmicky poor execution of a stupid idea. I am going to modify this to better suit my needs, as I said, but still a poor design. Other than that the jacket is great.
