I want to put the pictured light/plate mount on ditch the stock set up and install the bag spoilers for use as turn and brake has anyone done this and is the tail light mounted with the 3 hole or is the fender punched out like the lowerider? I have been out a million times but never look at the mount on the fender seems I always foreget????
Would be difficult to adapt the piece that you show. SG assembly is mounted with 2 bolts, take a look and you'll see how the fender is stamped. Better off with a Kuryakyn curved SG plate frame, perfect fit!
Anybody know if they make one with the halph moon to fit the SG????

I don't know what you mean by "half moon," but I agree with Bountyhunter than the Kuryakyn curved cover is the way to go for SG's, and that the one you pictured probably would not work well. I just installed my Kury cover today and it looks great.
that kury frame looks pretty good on their website. does it leave the stock blinkers? or is that all one piece? i plan on switching all the lights to leds, turn and brake and that would be a start.
