So, after buttoning up my bike, the front brake switch is not working. My cruise will set but it will not deactivate when I pull the lever. The brake light functions with the rear brake. Is it the switch or a pinched wire in the bars?

I would bet it's the switch. Many switches get broken when people change their brake levers. Also if the rubber boot over the switch is torn crap can get in there and screw it up. I would check that first.
Help us help you by answering a few questions here please.

Are you saying that when you press your front break there is no rear brake light going bright?
Have there been any resent changes or modifications to your bike prior to this happening?

Is this your 1st symptom or where you started to notice there was a problem?
Just installed new bars. Bike is in my signature. Again, would the cruise work if there was a loose connection going to the switch? Wouldn't the take light stay on in that case? It seems the switch has to be stuck in a closed position right? That should eliminate wiring and point to the switch?

Bumparoo...I have to revise my prior thinking. The switch is open when pushed in so when you let the plunger come out by pressing the brake lever, it closes the circuit and turns on the brake light and shuts down the cruise. That would mean it is probably a wire not making contact right? Probably another broken pin inside the POS Namz extensions inside the bars...I will never use one of those again...Am I on target?

Did you wedge the break lever before disassembly? Chances are if you didn't, you damaged the switch itself. Especially since the brake light isn't coming on, and cruise still works.
