Which would you choose?
Bike A: 2008 Road King Standard, Red Sunglo, 29,000 miles, Stage 1 Exhaust, Tuner and Air Filter, other than that stock, Very Good Condition $11,450.00
Bike B: 2003 Aniversary Road King Classic, Silver/Black, Stage one as above, but with about 5000.00 grand worth of accessories, that I will probably end up buying for the most part, mini apes, chrome controls, braided lines, set up the way I would do it. 36,000 miles, I would say it is just a notch cleaner than the 08 $11,000
2008 - 96ci Engine, 6spd
2003 - 88ci Engine, 5spd
This is a cash deal not from a dealer

The 2003 "anniversary edition" has no increased value.
H-D extended the model year to 15 months and pooped out 420,000 "anniversary model" bikes.
It was a successful marketing exercise- all kinds of people bought them and stuck in the garage.
the 08 has a larger motor, 6 speed, BETTER efi controls and better resale value.
enjoy the new ride
Mike
The '03 with the 5spd is a great bike for cruising two lane roads, but as for the freeway, 70-75 MPH is about as fast as ran mine. At 80 MPH, it will be cranking about 3500 RPM's and that's a bit high to run for long periods of time, plus the MPG's will drop into the low 30's at that speed/RPM's.
If you're planning on doing a lot of freeway riding the '08 would probably be the better choice of the two and you can always "accessorize" your bike as time and money allows.

Sounds to me like your not the type to take breakfast trips every weekend to Minnesota much.
