Default Paint job

Have an 09 ultra blue/silver two tone looking to get it painted a single dark blue similar to the 2012 SG wondering what cost I should expect and a reputable shop to do the work near Nashville.

If you mean the Big Blue Pearl, be prepared to pay...The paint is EXPENSIVE...I looked around trying to get a set of saddlebags painted and it was cheaper to pay for a take off set...

I'd say you're looking at somewhere around $2-3K+, & that's if you do the R&R & just take the parts in.

$2600 is likely the ballpark, if you take all the tins and fairing off yourself.

Custom paint shop near me said a full paint job in a deep dark pearl that I want would take nearly 4 months.

Is that realistic?
I was shocked.

They say it is dry time that makes it take so long.

2807, That is not realistic, does that shop not have a heated paint drying booth? They may have meant that it would be four months before they could do it because they have that much work ahead of you.

OP, Around $2500 - $3000 if you do the tear down and install yourself. The only guy I know is Nashville owns a Persian Rug store. I don't think he qualifies.
