A quick update, went for a little 100 mile ride. The bike seems to run so much better. I did a few data log runs with my power vision so I am still getting the tune dialed in. The bike seemed to rev alot smoother. Maybe it's just me but the bike seems to run alot smoother. Ill post some more info and pics. I plan on doing few more log runs tomorrow.

Update: After a few auto tune runs the bike is starting to run very good. I have had a few people tell me the pipe is alot quieter than they expected. The pipe does sound good but was quieter than I expected so I pulled the baffle and measured. I ordered the 2.55 baffle but measuring it is less than that it also was missing alot of the packing so I emailed Frank last Thursday and let him know what was going on. He said he would send me a 2.55 baffle with fresh packing.

I have not received it yet and my emails to Frank have gone unanswered since last week. I guess he is busy or out of town. I will post an update on the sound when I get the new baffle installed.

i been wrestling with a rattle noise since I ordered my 2 into 1 with 2.55 baffles. At the beginning since the baffle was nice and tight I discarded it as been the issue, after checking everything possible the rattle was still there (note that with my V&H power duals and rinehart slip-ons this rattling is not present), I decided to pull the baffle out, most of the packaging is missing, and the rattling noise is gone.

I also noticed that the setup is much quieter than expected, not to my likings my aforementioned setup is much louder, in any event I will be calling tomorrow to see what is going on.

Frank emailed me back last night. He was having some family stuff going on. He said the 2.55 baffle was shipped out Tuesday so I should see it by the end of the week.

I went from a 2-1-2 headpipe and fuelmoto pro touring pipes. I have noticed alot more heat coming from the pipe with the dragula I'm guessing this is normal with 2-1 pipes.

One big thing I have noticed is low end torque before when cruising aroudn town I had to keep my rpm's no less than 2200. Now the bike doesn't complain a bit if they drop below 2000. The whole bike just feels stronger.

I had a Dragula 2-1 and liked it alot. Noticed increased response and pull throughout the whole rpm range over my revious Thunderheader. Quality on Dragula is head and shoulders above Thunderheader as well.
I had the 2.3 baffle which is the quiet baffle. I recently sold it and took advantage of a special on MGS true duals. Always had 2-1 and wanted to try duals. If I dont like true duals Im gong back for a black Dragula.

There is no rattling sound it is the decell / echo you hear. There double bolted and tight fit. They have triangular perforator veins in there it will sound like a flow master on decell. The packing we use will burn off slowly after some milage. The packing is a noise dampener. You can remove the packing it will get louder. Again we dont claim to have the loudest pipe that's not my goal. We guarantee a deep rich note. and performance Loud does not make power.... LOL.... And if you come from any 2:1:2 or true duals you will lose the surround sound you are used to hearing when you go to a 2:1.
Please call me if you have any questions. Any performance upgrades you make the pipe gets louder.

Sorry I have been out the last few days My 7 year old boy had surgery. Everything went great he is home and Im back today at the shop. I have been answering emails and calling people back. So please bare with me.

Thanks for the reply and glad everything is ok with your son!

Would taking the packing off the baffle have any effect on power?

Yes it will increase power More HP the packing is more for sound...to decrease loudness of pipe. Thats it.

Whats loud to me and others very.... What i think is loud other may say its not..... or the other way around.
