You have to slide it under the black plastic ring # 17 from the front then it snaps into place. There is a slot under #17 when installed correctly.
The diagram shows 17-18-19 below #11 when they actually go on top

Yep, that drawing is bogus. #11 is under like stuart1270 said. I've had that thing apart numerous times. The switch comes off easily then 17-19 are just tightened down with a wrench. All pretty easy for a person with standard mechanical abilities.
#11 is real easy to change. i wound up breaking 2 of the tabs that hold it down so i am looking to replace it so it sits flat. i didnt know once #15 is removed that you just unscrew#18 and it all comes off. wonder how much that part is as well as # 14 since mine has 2 dents in it.

The switch I have has a scratch on the ignition plate right where the word "Off" is. So I was going to order this new plate and replace the scratched one.
So the **** (#15) comes off fairly easily once the switch is removed and in hand? So I could replace the plate?
