My bike seldom sits without use during the summer months so the tender gets little use. As the weather goes bad I begin using the tender. The winter cover goes on late in the fall AFTER hooking up the tender.

I plug it in after every ride. Never forget to do that but I have forgotten to un-plug it before backing out of the garage though. The sound of the tender dragging across the floor stops me every time.....

What charger are you guys using? Never used one in the past but with the colder time of the year coming up certainly would not hurt,

Always plug mine in when it's in the garage. Put the pig tails on the bike and it only takes seconds to plug the tender in.

I use mine every day and on my 2009 the OEM battery lasted 2 years and one month.
But I still use it every day.
