Default Caliber true duals?????

I found me some used true duals at a junk yard that seem to be in good shape. The guy doesn't know what brand they are but the removable end caps have Caliber imprinted on them. Does anyone know what brand they might be and if they are good pipes? the are the head pipes and slipon mufflers.

Thanks for you help,

Mike

Those are Samsons high line exhaust system. They are a 4 step system and sound very good. I think you'll like them. check out www.samsonusa.com

4 step system is a system that gets bigger diameter at each curve in the pipe. It comes out of the head at an inch and 7/8 and gets bigger. I think it's 2" going into the muffler, so no other muffler would work with that header pipe. You put those pipes an air box and a PC 3 that bike will run.

I've got em. They sound good but the heat shields aren't the greatest.

what do you mean the heat shields aren't the greatest? what is wrong with them. also, how much louder are they then the SE slipons with the stock head pipes?

if you don't mind....what did you pay for them?

The heat shield coming around the curve at the back pipe doesn't fit real good. I had SE slipons on my last bike and I think the Calibers sound better. They might be alittle quieter at cruising but when you get on it the Calibers are louder. They are a lot quieter than the samson rolled thunders.
