Amazon Amazon

gong on a couple day trip to socal & wanted something to cover the bike with while its at the hotel. the wife & i will be solo so i wont have any other bikes around mine & would like to cover it so its just a little more out of sight out of mind.
i will take the tour pack off & keep it in the room once we get there.

If you have time to let the bike completely cool down before putting the cover on, go for it. There is nothing in the description about the bottom part being heat resistant. Put it on a hot bike, and you're gonna have a mess. Spend about 40 more bucks and get a good one.

I just picked this up last week. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

What you have chosen is ok....I had one just like it for 4 years and I just upgraded to this one and so glad I did. Quality is what you'll get but you will have to pay for it. It's water proof and with all the features listed in the description. I am taking a road trip and decided to be prepared.

Ha $140 for that?

like above post, get a cover with a honda or suzuki logo.

set the alarm, use a chain and disc locks.

call ahead ask for room adjacent to bike parking, or ask desk to park where it can be watched.

in the old days, I used to take the bike in the motel room....open up the yellow pages and use them to change any oil.

• Large rust-proof grommets prevent tearing

Those would be for cable locks.
