My Fulmer M1 has a headset on it and I wear it any time I ride with the wife. Great helmet if ya want one that big. Comfy, lift the clear visor (or smoked if ya got one: cost $20) or you can lift the full visor for better in town vision.

Works for me on long trips to cut road noise too. I live about 100 miles from a city and so I make that trip several times a month...I hate being deaf when I get there.

I'm almost certain that I have the same helmet.

My first modular motorcycle helmet but I've had a few for riding snowmobiles.
I still have the FF helmet that I bought in 2000 for my Alaska trip.
(I use it on the tractor when plowing snow).

Although I normally wear a L or XL, but the XXL fit me perfectly.
It is Bluetooh ready though it's unlikely that I'll ever use it but I have already installed the H-D headset.

I kinda like the one in drunkanfu's post. The full face style.

No indication of what you ride. I switched from an HJC modular (which was satisfactory for the price) to a 3/4 because both a full face and modular blocked the view of the speedo and annunciator lights on the tank of my Road King. In cold weather (35 degrees and below) I must use a face mask.

Once you narrow your candidates, make sure the liner is removable for washing and check how expensive are the replacement clear and tinted shields if one or both need to be replaced. Two helmets of equal appeal and comfort might be differentiated by a glued in interior in one vs a removable interior in the other and if a replacement shield for one is $45 and hard to get vs $25 for the other and easy to get.

Default Great Deal at Cycle Gear

I bought a SHOEI Multitec today at Cycle Gear, they have it on close-out for $329....MSRP is $450. They have a sale on all close-out items for 20% off the sale price.....it cost me $263. Check out your local Cycle Gear, if they don't have one they can check other stores to see they do....$3.00 to ship it in. One of the better flip-up helmet's....it does have good reviews.

I where the Fulmer modular helmet. Doc said no more sun, so now I have no choice but to cover up or ignore the Doc. (They've cut enough off me lately that I'm a believer.)

Another vote form the Shoei Neotek. Check at some Honda shops, they seem to carry a variety of quality helmets. Have 2 HJC modulars a Symax and BTmax I think. Both are noisier than the Shoei and the chin guard is not as solid as the Shoei. Course cost a bunch less.
