DIY is always nice! I'm thinking these are just for parade speeds?

+1!!! I think that would be fine for a parade, but I wouldn't go very far at highway speeds.

I will not be using "Hose Clamps" on exposed chrome on my bike.

The clams never touch the chrome if that is what you are saying. If you are saying they look bad, well ok.

when you split the tee, then you shell clamp it to the chrome bar on top and bottom then put the clamps. Clamps never touch the chrome.
