GOOD LUCK it's in Harley right now they can't fix it. New 2012 road glide ultra. Harley has had this bike more than me. I got it Memorial day with a lot of stuff wrong with it and it's still not safe to ride it. 100 miles and it's the same thing over and over but this one is a bad wobble in the front when you let off at 60. and in the back in turns over 65 on the gas. I hope you just need air in the tire.

The video shows the "Death Wobble IMHO and I've felt it in high speed sweepers, plenty of feed back about the wobble in long sweepers. Deals Gap I haven't rode but isn't it more tight twisties? I've never had a problem in the tight stuff. Could it be a wheel bearing going bad? Worn rear tire, just a thought based on your mileage; my bike always feels better to me with new shoes?

I then checked tire pressure . my fron tire was only 28lb . i increased that to 40lb . my rear tire was also 28lb i increased that to 42lb .

Your bike probably needs the fall away adjusted to the new standard 1.5 turns. This is a well known issue with Road Glides.

EXACTLY!!! Good job making the most obvious adjustments first.
As I said above you may not believe a pound or two one way or the other can be dramatically different, but it is.
I'm at 11 pounds front and rear on the air ride suspension and the front tire is 36, and the rear 40. It was the front wheel that made a big difference.
Also seeing the rear tire "wash out" does not mean it's the swing arm, it's a visual illusion.
However I can tell you there were years of poor swing arm bushings that did cause the rear to shift, especially on corners.
I dont think its in the rear end as Ive riden this bike on the same road without this happenig before and not that it couldnt be but I understood that the new frame design eliminated that issue for the most part. I tend to believe it may be steering neck adjustment. Is there a way to check this?
You understand wrong! Read my thread about Bagger Wobble.
However before you take any other action, make sure your bike is in perfect health. Neck bearings, tyre pressures and tyre wear are common causes of handing woes. Also take a pinch of salt with some of what has been written so far!
I went to Deals Gap this past weekend on my street glide to ride the dragon. Ive riden it several times before so I knew what to expect and most importantly I know my limitations! I have riden this bike on it once before without any issues. This time however i found that when I was deep into a tight turn the handlebars shook about 1/2 to 3/4 inches back and fourth until I got out of the turn. Very odd feeling. Any ideas what caused this? The bike is a 2011 and it has 9,000 miles.
With all due respect, what is your level of riding experience? The front end will shimmy like that (with no mechanical problems) if you try to steer it in a tight turn rather than countersteer. Less experienced riders can make that mistake, as can experienced riders that are not yet confident on a bike that is new to them if they think they aren't going to make the turn (a feeling that can happen in tight twisties). You may just need to relax and countersteer throught the turns.
I appreciate all the feedback. I guess Im gonna do the tire pressure check as that seems to be the place to start. I"ll do the fall away test next. To answer the question about experience...Im not a new rider. Ive had bikes all my life. That alone doesnt make me a good rider. It just says Ive riden a few miles. I am obviously new to this bike and it feels different than my 06 road king did. I do know this bike has a heavier feel to the steering at slower speeds than the road king. But I'll take your advise and start with the small stuff and see how it goes. Thanks again for the opinions.
+1 on the tire/rear shock pressures: couldn't see why mine felt so unsure in tight turns when I first got it: rear shock was way low for my weight, and just a pound or two difference in either tyre and the handling is completely different.

Fall away has been set over 7 times new tires rims harley has done it all. I have it all over video they don't even want to look at the new tapes anymore Harley knows.
