Monkey bar or primal apes or just apes
I have a 2011 SG and i am 5'6 with kinda short arms and i want to put apes on my SG. I think i want to go with 12inch so i can keep my Stock mirrors. The paul yaffi bars are $$$ and the la choppers are a little cheaper and the look the same ...i think ...looking for any insigh....thanks

The Prime apes look good but are quite a bit wider than the monkey bars. That's the only think I don't like on them but that is just a personal preference. My Monkey Bars are extremely comfortable and look good. Its a bitch to pull wires through that bend.

Yaffe's are back ordered so I went with prime apes. Having them installed this week. Yaffe is back ordered at least until October and that's a maybe. Be careful if try to buy from other vendors, their website might say in stock but they are not. I tried 3 different ones including one on eBay
When I ordered my 12" monkey bars last year, they had them in stock and shipped them out the same day. If I'd have wanted 10s or 14s, I would have had to wait. It just depends on what they've go on hand at the moment. It's always worth a phone call to double check, it might be a different story, depending on the size you want.

I have the LA Choppers Prime Apes on my EG Ultra. I love them. They are a little wider, but I had wide beach bars on my RKC so I am used to the feel. I don't think you could go wrong with either. But as others have said it is a PITA pulling the wires through, but not a $850 PITA. That is what the local stealer wanted to install them. Did it myself learned a little something and saved money so I could buy something else.
