Was pushing down on my front fender to get the tie down strap to release and I push a bit too hard and right on top of my front fender. Put a small ding in it about the size of the bottom of my palm.
Is there a way I can get that out without having to take it apart. Can't reach it from underneath with the tire there
As thick as the metal is, I wouldnt even try to knock it out without taking it off. Pull it off, put it on some sort of dense pillow or something soft. Might use your palm to knock it back out. Or better yet, after its off, call one of the painless dent guys to look at it.
If you want to give paintless dent repair the best chance of removing the dent, don't do anything but call a PDR person in your area and give him the opertunity to repair it.
If you atemp to repair it yourself might put some marks in it the pdr guy wont be able to get out.
I dought they will want the fender removed, harder to hold and nothing to get leverage off of, like the tire.
I'd say it probably going to be around $100-$125 to get it repaired.
+1 to what "senna" says ... I've seen these guys do some marvelous repairs provided someone hasn't attempted something silly before them ... Good Luck Brother!
When I was installing my amp I dropped it on my fender and dented it. Saturday the Dent Wizard came and popped it out - in minutes. Call them, get it done right. While they were here had them do 2 others on the cars. $120 for all 3 dents!
