Default LED Run & Turn Lights ?

07 StreetGlide: Considering upgrading my old bulb style lights to new LED brighter ones. I want to replace the front run/turn & rear brake & turn lights. Id prefer the easiest plug & play and not have to slice any wires anywhere.

I know there are multiple choices so I thought Id ask here to see whats good & bad out there. I do prefer the higher quality ... no sense in buying something to save a few bucks just to have to replace it 6 mos later.

So... what are you folks using ?

Seeing as your scoot is an 07, I'd recommend reading this post:
Nothin' to it. I'm happy as He11 with my Custom Dynamics units, but the steps are pretty much the same for the others.

If you need the controller I recommend Bad Lands. According to them, theirs is the only (proprietary technology) that doesn't generate heat. I know mine doesn't get hot at all.
++ What everyone else said about CD. Customer service second to none and son-in-law complains about the bright lights when he can't keep up.

Another CD user including their load equalizer. BRIGHT and work perfectly, no worrisome heat I've noticed, and plug'n'play all the way - about 15 minutes to install everything. Like the CD stuff so much I made the stealer swap my setup from my 2010 FLTRX into my new scoot as part of the deal.

ETA: I installed LEDs in all 4 corners (no center tail-light on FLTRX so all are run-turn plus rear are run/turn/brake, therefore needed load equalizer/controller). Maybe the only info I'm adding that applies to OP is that I'm yet another satisfied CD customer.

I put LED on the tail and rear turn signals..
Have the stay on mod for them as running lights..

Bright back end and still pull enough amps for turn signal..

I purchase a Badlands load equalizer for my 95 flht. It wouldn't work so I made a call to Badlands. They shipped another one immediately at no charge. It wouldn't work for me either and they figured out that my turn signal controller was marginal. The sent me their controller with a built in equalizer in exchange for the LE that I originally purchased at no extra charge. The controller was more expensive than the LE.

Great service.
