Best 103 engine build
Biggest reason I did the 255s is keeping the warranty and I knew they torqued pretty good from my old bike..... now if I wasn't worried about keeping the warranty... I might look into the 222s now.......
and I definitely wish I would have had them clean up the ports some... that would have helped me a little... just don't know if it would have been enough to warrant the extra cost.
(edit) it looks like about the only difference in that set up in the dyno sheet and mine is the 2-1-2 headers (not sure how much gain there is in that over the true duals I have) and I don't know what size baffles the Jackpot mufflers come with. I know I lost a touch of torque on the lower end with the 2.25 over the 2" that I had on my old bike..( it doesn't have the snap as hard when you nail the gas, but it's smoother on transition from coast to throttle.) So there could be a little gain there over mine too, maybe so, maybe not..... but even if the 222 bike had the same pipes, it looks like it would probably still put out more.
