Got mine about two weeks after buying the bike. Actually took them off a couple of months ago and went for a ride with the wife. We both hated it. We were pounded by the wind and buffeting. Bike hadn't even cooled off when we got home and I was already putting them back on. They'll never come off again. They make a huge difference, especially at highway speeds.

Got mine from timelessmotorcycleparts on eBay. They were brand new, made in the USA, chrome, very high quality. It required no modifications or adjustments with the installation. I was hesitant about putting them on at first but now I wouldn't ride without them. I don't have fairing lowers and I'm running a 7.5 HD Windscreen. I get no buffeting at all. However, I'm on the vertically challenged side at 5'11" with a 31 inseam.

I went HD Deflectors and they work great to push the wind out. I also went with the HD Lower Fork Baffle, made a lot of difference reducing the air coming over the top of the tank. Together they are a low cost improvement. As mentioned, make sure they don't hit turning the front lock to lock - there is a little adjustment, but I bent 'em just enough to where they don't touch anything.

I installed the Jescontrols deflectors on my 07 Street Glide with spots and lower fairings and they work fantastic. Will never take them off, used to get tons of air between the lowers and the tank, now 90% is gone. I hold my hand below my chin and no more push of air. Joe is a great guy to deal with, and excellent quality product.

I bought a pair of Harley ones, but already had their front engine guard oval fog lights. The two don't go together, so the deflectors had to go! Has anyone used a shortened pair of these deflectors with fogs?

I have the HD Chrome Wind Deflectors and a Fork Baffle. Best investment for buffeting. Had Value Accessories Chrome Deflectors on my Volusia before that. Won't ride without them.

I have a 2010 EGC and was having an issue with the amount of air coming up to my face from either side of the tank. I installed the fork baffle, and it helped just a little bit. I then installed the chrome lower deflectors, and that made a huge difference. Now with the Longview 10" shield with recurve, I'm sitting in a nice little "balloon" with no buffeting at all. The one watchout might be increased engine heat. Since installing the chrome deflectors, the parade-mode comes on quicker in hot weather than it used to. One has to assume that the engine is getting less air.

I put a pair of JES black deflectors on the black ultra a couple of weeks ago. They work well and they have a great finish on them. Quality stuff for 100 bucks. However, I definately feel more heat on my leg the right side of the bike. My bike prolly runs pretty lean though. I have power duels, high flow air and just the dealer downkoad. Need a tune...
