Maybe I am strange or just old and don't care but I test rode the 12 Ultra last year and my 04 really had a better ride. Maybe it was the mods that have been done but I just didn't care for the ride of the 12

That's a good idea to take it out for a long ride. I rented a Roadglide Ultra for a weekend last year after I sold my 95 Electraglide Ultra. I ended up sticking with the batwing and bought a new Ultra Limited. I kept hearing about how if you ride a roadie you'll want it. I road it and it was ok but still preferred the ride and handling of the batwing. Glad I checked it out though.
