Thats why we like Laconia, it is a lot closer for us 4 hours or so and the riding is great, the white mts, the green mts in Vt over to Ny and Canada, back to the hills and down to the shore, up the coast of Maine a bit, all around great rides.
I lived in FL for a while in three different parts, I am all set with it for rides, it is just flat and hot
When we go to Lconia we only go to the strip once for a few hours and hang around buy some shades and look at the bikes, the rest of the time we are out riding and checking out the outlying events and stuff that go on all week.
The hill climbs at Gunstock or the traveling Indian museum or the MT Washington ride are all cool, and the ski mts have summer stuff like MT coasters and water slides and stuff to do too, so it is just fun everywhere in June in NH.
I want to go to Sturgis too, the riding sounds nice and it is a long way from the East Coast, maybe in a year or two.
My wife isnt ready for that long of a ride, so she would take my truck with her bike and I would ride my bike to Laconia at first, to go to Sturgis I would have to put her on the back and just go on the bike, camping gear and a debit card, lol
Cant buy gas for three vehicles for a week and go to South Dakota.
I just cant see going to a bike rally and not riding my bike, I could see if it was a show bike I just built and hoped to sell, then maybe I would trailer it, but otherwise if I cant ride I aint going.
