Just for argument sake, does anyone new if you can put the True Duel Headpipes on the '07 Streetglide and leave on the stock mufflers? Also, do you have to add the power commander or do any other tuning with this setup?
I am not looking to change the performance or the sound as much as I HATE the HD headpipes!
You can change just the headers if you want and it probably will not require any tuning modifications. Bear in mind, your performance will likely decrease and your bike will still be running lean from the EPA stock tuning. You may want to think this through a little more. Good luck to you....
The right muffler is packed differently than the left so if you put true dual kit on with stock mufflers it sounds like crap and is way out of tune this way. True dualsare the only way to go IMO but ya gotta also go with a pair of matched mufflers. Then you'll need a Power Commander or SERT. Sert being my choice and a Dyno tune at the end. Don't forget free flowing air cleaner.
What about running the FullSac conversion? I put this on my skoot(it's not a 2007)and have had great results!

Rinehart True Dual head pipes are a different diameter from OEM and stock-dimensioned slip-ons don't fit. BUB does sell header pipes for a true dual exhaust that are the correct dimension for slip-ons.
