I have the HF tire changer and MC adapter (I don't think they sell it anymore).
I wouldn't use the HF lever on a rim where cosmetics are important.
I added the MOJO Blocks and MOJO lever. It works (better than spoons anyday).
I bent the MOJO lever, I also broke the bolt that hold the plastic end on.

Not much difference in the different spoons I used. The longer tools will give you more leverage. Plastic from bottles make good rim protectors.
Use plenty of lube, dish soap works OK (diluted with water), tire lube is a little better.
