At Las Vegas Bike Fest last weekend, Freedom Performance had a booth there with about 6 lifts installing true dual exhaust systems. They were installing a lot of them. They also had 5 bikes there with their different systems installed so you could listen to each one. They looked like good systems and had a good sound to them. Anyone here have one of their systems or slip -ons? Opinions? Thanks
The local indy is trying to steer me toward Freedom Performance. If you do a search for Fredom Performance exhaust, I'm pretty sure there is a thread about them and some pretty positive comments from those that bought them. I'm undecided - many exhaust systems to choose from.
I had a 06 ultra and installed Freedom exhaust in Sturgis, loved the sound and performance. Also have a 08 ultra that I purchased, the bike had Reinhart true duals. I did not like the sound and the bike only got 31mpg on the highway with just me (on more than one trip). I installed the Freeedom 4" slipons (using reinhart headers) and my mileage went up to 41mpg with wife, fully packed up and running 80mph on two trips. Very satisfied
I have a set of true duals on my 12 SG chrome with black machined tips, I think they are the outlaw model. fit and quality is excellent and the sound is deep and aggressive. I am wanting to try the MGS true duals in black . so if anyone is wanting to get a set of these I am thinking of selling so I can get the mgs, I heard theirs is a deep low sound also.
these are only 2 months old. pm me if you are interested.
thanks
mike
I got a set on my 08 heritage, they were on the bike when I bought it but so far I am pleased with them. The quality is excelent and they have a great sound to them. They are not the true duals but I'm sure the quality is the same on all their products.
Have a riding buddy who has them on his bike and they sound amazing. I was looking into getting them on another bike and called them up to get some info. Come to find out they are founded by a former big wig from Vance and Hines. They are supposed to use the same processes as V&H. So believe what you will.
