Looking to get some replacement front brake pads. Is the general consensus that Lyndal are the best. I want something that produces minimal brake dust, but not at the expense of braking performance. I really liked the OEM, but they were IMHO a bit dusty. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so rain is always a consideration. Any info would be appreciated.
I would try the Lyndall gold plus , as I have the Z pads on mine and they are a bit weak in the rain.
I contacted Lyndall and they said they would let me trade the z pads for the gold pads , and assured me the wet performance would be better.
I do like the Z pads in all other circumstances , nice feel , low dust , very linear feel when nearly stopped.
That's my 2 cents anyway.
