Default Brake Pads

Not going to be long before I need some new ones on the rear of my 03 FXDL Really want the best bang for my buck. I can research best price, but what about best pads? OEM, or after market and if after market who? I don't ride much in heavy traffic or treat it like a crotch rocket, (got a sporty for that if I want). Reliability and longevity are needed. Thanks

Lyndall brake pads are a sure bet. They last longer than stock pads, produce less dust, and provide better stopping power.

Search the forums for posts about Lyndall pads. People around here love 'em.

Lyndall z plus. They are not cheap, but last a long time and stop great. Used to be able to get them cheap at cyclespot, but cyclespot closed...

I hate these "mee too" replies, but yea - Lyndall pads

Put my first set on front and rear at about 12K miles, now at 18K. I"m never gonna use anything else. In fact, my next bike will get them on first thing.

I think I paid like $90 for 2 pair from some random place on eBay

Lyndall Z-Plus. Less dust, better braking. Highly recommended by everyone who uses them. I just bought a set at Eastern Performance - http://www.easternperformance.com/

The shipping was free and the pads were shipped the same day. The price was several dollars cheaper than if I had gone to my local Harley dealer and purchased OEM brake pads (Eastern Performance didn't charge for shipping and there was no sales tax).

I posted a thread on this dated April 8.
