Default how do I remove plug from headlight

I have a 2012 street glide and I trying to replace my speakers but I have run into a snag. I cannot remove the wiring plug from the headlamp element. I've read the service manual and read a couple of diy threads, I tried pulling side to side, no help. I don't see any tabs to squeeze. I'm pulling pretty hard and feel like I'm going to mess something up. What am I missing? Somebody help me.

It's on there pretty good & hope yours isn't corroded (shouldn't be w/2012 bike). Got to wiggle the connector kinda "circular" to break all "three" prongs loose. Take a couple of breaths & give 'er another try - good luck!

Yes, give it a good squeeze then gently pull it off.

Put a dab of Dielectric grease on it when you re-install
