Mine is vivid black and I have never had glare. Once you paint the inner fairing, or buy the Harley one, bikes with the factory finish just don't look right...
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger next week at Daytona from a guy on craigslist for a painted swapped fairing. Now I have concerns of:
"once you paint the inner fairing, or buy the Harley one, bikes with the factory finish just don't look right"
Is it really that noticeable?
One of the Best Mods can do and also a good time to get ride of the useless Air Temp gauge and get an Oil Temp gauge ... Think the only ones that have glare issues are the ones that don't want to spend the money to do their Inner Fairing

I want to paint mine as well but I can't decide what color. The bike is White Gold Pearl and Pewter Pearl. Which color would look best on the inner fairing?
Help!

I always go with the top color of the tank. The color of the fairing then just blends nicely around the sides. I don't care for the contrast look myself.
I was thinking of doing the same thing to mine too, I had an "ah ****" and ended up buying (or the painter did) a Quart of Tequila Sunrise ($300/qt), using the rest to paint the inner....

I think what He meant was that after having the painted inner, bikes that don't have it don't look right with the factory matte black finish.I think that is what he meant.
Metallic red & no glare. Wouldn't ride with it being the stock black plastic, looks like something you would put on a Honda. JK I would still ride until I could get the paint & time (which I would make the time). Best mod I have done was the painted inner.
