Default Differance Between Passenger Floor Board Mounts

I have been considering a set of the Adjustable Auxiliary footpeg mounts for the wife PN 54157-10

But they list them for 2010 models up. Does anyone know what the difference is between the 2009 passenger floor board mounts and the 2010. The bikes are the same frame. The only difference I can think of is the Cat Exhaust and they had to change the floor board mount to clear the change.

I know Kuryakyn has a set for my bike but not sure about there quality.

Thanks for any info.

I have these on the ultra and my old lady loves them. I cant see any reason why you couldnt make these work on your bike, be worth a try if you think you can.

According to my parts manual the p/n for my floor board supports are 52719-93B. The p/n is not on either list.

The difference between the 2009 Passenger Floorboard Mount and the 2010 and later mount is that the 2009 utilizes only one bolt to attach the mount to the frame and has a stud located about an inch below the mounting bolt to locate the mount and keep it from rotating ... The later mount 50379-07b utilizes two bolts, one ( the lower mounting bolt ) fits into a slot that allows some minimal adjustment when removing the upper mounting bolt.
The Kit can be used on the 2009 bike. The kit comes with different size lower shouldered mounting bolts. The 2009 uses a 3/8 shouldered bolt whereas the 2010 and later units use a 5/16 shouldered bolt.

I know this because I had the mounting bolt break off inside the frame of my 2009 FLHTCU and after a great deal of bickering with HD Customer service was finally offered the later mounting set-up because they were ( shhhh, don't tell anyone ) having problems with the single bolt set-up.
