I just spent about $1500 at LSHD, Got the 20% plus free shipping. They did add the oversize for wheel and tire. I priced New Castle and they were within a couple of dollars but the shipping killed it. Thru 2/28 LSHD is a flat rate $9.99 for shipping and free over $250. In the past Zanottis whose on line people have now moved to New Castle was terrible on small item. They wanted $19.90 for a set of grips where LSHD charged around $8. hey all pick up a little on shipping but with no tax still a nice deal.
I always try the same parts at Surdyke, Cyclepartsforless, and LSHD1 then I just order the cheapest one...(including shipping)
Yup pretty much what I do. Just ordered some parts from Lake Shore last night. With the free shipping over $250 it came to $10 cheaper than Cycle Parts For Less (now Kutter) and way cheaper than Surdyke.
I just did a quick test - Screamin Eagle tappets, list is $249, LSHD1 price $199.
Looks like 20% to me.
It really depends on the part for some reason. I have had some parts come to 20% off on Lake Shore. Others went up to as high as 25% off and on occasion as low as 15%. I always wait until I have a big order and weigh the options of price and shipping offers between several e-tailers. For small parts where you don't get free shipping it is better to just pick them up locally. By the time you add shipping you are back to square one.
just priced a chopped tour pak @ LSHD & it was 599.96 - list from HD is 749.95 - that is 20% off - not sure why the op has a problem?
I honestly think it depends on the item. This is why myself and a few others have mentioned doing a price check at 3 or 4 popular online retailers prior to making a purchase.

agreed, it is always best to check several sites against each other. but the op specifically stated he priced a tourpak and didn't get the 20% where baffler1 did....
also, check with pcpain (jon.horton@hornytoadhd.com) everything i've bought in the past couple of years has come from him, and he has consistently beat zanotti's and always shipped super fast.
