Wanna put a Kury #4859 RTB module on the 2012 RK + had a couple questions for those of you with them installed. Is it strictly plug + play, do the emer flashers still work, did you have to use equalizers? TIA
Kury part has the advantage of a pulsing feature that HD does not
Yeah, I read if you have to install equalizers, then you have to unplug them while flashers in use. That's what concerns me, pullin the seat every time I use the flashers for an extended period. Apparently the equalizers generate a gang of heat. But, if it's REALLY plug + play, I guess it oughta fly. Thanx!

You would only need an equalizer if you are using LEDs for signals. Use the equalizer from Badland and you don't have to worry about heat as they have come up with a way that their equalizer stays cool. The RTB modules are plug and play.

Got the RTB module installed + what a difference! Totally plug + play, I did have to change the rear signal lenses to red to be legal. Nice mod for about $75 including new lenses. Makes back of bike much more visible, especially with flashing enabled.

I really like the flashing feature..I run the kuryakyn one on mine and my wife's bike..
