What's the possibility of renting a cam bearing removal and install tool from members who have them? I paid a few bucks from a member from another forum to "rent" a tool to press out a solid rivet for an old bike I had and it worked out great. I paid for shipping and something like $15 to use it, then paid for shipping back to him. It worked out great and I'm sure if one were to charge $25 to rent the bearing tool, it'd pay for itself within a few rentals.
I don't have one and really don't want to drop the money for a one or two time use.
Well, if you charged the person for the cost of the tool plus shipping & PayPal fees, you lose nothing if they don't return it.
For the poster who wants to rent the tool, PM me. I have the Hartland Tool that pulls & installs the cam bearings plus I have 2 new Timkin/Torington bearings for the new TC's available.
