Mods that you regretted---
you need to have the walrus teeth....those and the soft lowers work well...I had the same reaction and problem when I first put on the soft lowers
So far the only mod I have done that the jury is still out on is the adjustable vents for the bat wing fairing. While in the cold weather I like them I find that they introduce some wobble at high speeds in the summer months as well as limiting air flow to the cylinders (I do open the vents to get flow to the cylinders so that isn't the issue, the slight head wobble at speed is the pain).
Easy solution in my case, since they are held on with four screws per side I can just take them off for the summer.

What size where they? You know what they say, "this thread is worthless without pics". We want to share your misery!
Fairing Air deflectors & 3 Pouch windshield bags, are the bags a mod? Either way I don't like the look of either on a Street Glide. I bought the fairing air deflectors to limit the buffeting and all along I just needed to switch helmets. The bags are functional as are the deflectors in some applications they're just better suited look wise on a UC.
Factory lowers.
Made the bike "noises" louder, you hear stuff you never did before. Hotter than hell in the summer, even with the vents open. Ride in the rain? Your legs are still getting wet. Little rivet flaps never stayed closed, and rain always gets inside the gloveboxes.
Best thing about them? There's always someone ready to buy them, when you decide they're they're coming off your bike.
A lot of folks have commented about the Hogtunes stuff... I never bought any, but everyone I know that did, was disappointed.
